CEO

Dave King is a digital visionary and a leading authority on the changing marketing landscape.

Dave has a keen eye for the next big digital opportunity, having previously founded eyefall (now Altogether Digital) an agency that has serviced the European needs of consumer brands including Merrill Lynch, GMAC RFC, SKY and BMW. He successfully disposed of eyefall in 2006 to the Engine Group. Dave stayed on to lead the company as CEO. Prior to eyefall, Dave King founded Hypnosis, a UK music internet specialist consulting to BMG, EMI and Warner, worked as acting CEO of Ministry of Sound and MD of Virtue Tornado Plc structuring their DRM and watermarking deal with EMI.

In 1995, Dave King launched a ground-breaking music product in conjunction with Nexus Publishing and major UK record companies, putting the first ever CD-Extra cover mounts on music magazines including DJ Magazine. In addition, Dave has consulted on numerous consumer-facing organisations (public and private) on their own digital strategies; most notably the Office of the Prime Minister, Samsung, Future Publishing, Universal and EMI.

Dave is on the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) City Dinner Committee. He also regularly donates his time and expertise as a consultant on a pro-bono basis to Combat Stress, King’s Place Music Foundation, and Royal Parks.

Dave King is a frequent commentor on the digital industry and is often invited to contribute his opinions. He has written bylined articles for leading magazines outlets such as European CEO Magazine and has spoken at IDM and New Media Age conferences.
